Communities are groups that players can create or join in order to closely interact with other players. In a community, players can set Rules, elect Leaders and even create Events.There are two types of Communities, they are:

* Unofficial Communities&#x20;
* Official Communities&#x20;

### How do Communities become recognized by the Crypto City Team? <a href="#how-do-communities-become-recognized-by-the-meta-city-team" id="how-do-communities-become-recognized-by-the-meta-city-team"></a>

In order to be recognized by the Crypto City team, a community needs to meet the following conditions:

* Large
* Well-organized
* Places well in events
* Good reputation in the city

Players can apply to have their community be recognized through our website, after which the Meta City team will go through the criteria on whether the community is deserving of the official status.

### What are the benefits of becoming recognized by the Crypto City Team? <a href="#what-are-the-benefits-of-becoming-recognized-by-the-meta-city-team" id="what-are-the-benefits-of-becoming-recognized-by-the-meta-city-team"></a>

When a community becomes recognized, the Meta City Team will create a channel for that community in the official Meta City discord server.Territory will be allocated to the community. This is where the community will be based, and in this area players will be able to open their own business/store and sell community merchandise for members of the community.Official Communities can create their own events. Having a recognized community can generate a lot of income for the community owners.

Anyone can create a community, but only the best communities will become recognized by the Crypto City Team.
